Quality Testing
Rigorous quality control test at National Laboratories are carried out to ensure
quality of products.
After-Sales-Service
After-sales-services is provided at all locations of the Depots. Regional and All-India
After-sales-service directories have been published comprising names, addresses,
telephone numbers of dealers/service centre to enable the customers to avail better
after- sales- service facility. After-sales-service Camp/Melas are held at regular
intervals to provide after sale services.
Personal Training
In order to improve the quality of output, various Human Resource Development(HRD)
activities are being organized for the staff at the institute of national repute,
namely the a) Administrative Staff College of India b) IIM : Ahmedabad, Lucknow,
Indore, Bangalore, Kolkata c) ISTM : New Delhi d) MDI : Gurgaon e) TMTC : Pune f)

Computerisation
The department is under the process of converting its entire infrastructure towards
Computerization. Its headquarters and most of the depots have been computerized.
Shortly all the depots will be working on a Real-time system.

Bar-Coding
The department is also making progress to include the process of bar-coding its
entire inventory.
